Janet Cowell

Dear Friend:
There are 12 days left until the May 6th election and more than 80,000 people across North Carolina have already early voted. My campaign is still earning crucial endorsements, knocking on doors, working poll sites, and reaching out to voters across the State.

I am proud to announce that I have earned four more critical endorsements since last week. One of the endorsements includes a newspaper endorsement from the Independent Weekly which stated that I won their support because of the integrity and good sense I have shown as a City Councilor and member of the State Senate.

We recommend Janet Cowell based on her strong record of public service and the support it's earned her across the state support won because of her integrity and good sense.

-- Independent Weekly, 4/22/2008

The other three endorsements are from crucial African American groups including the High Point Roundtable, the Warren County Political Action Committee, and the Wake County Voter Education Coalition.

As more voters come to the polls, I need your help to communicate with voters. Here are some ways you can help me do this:

We have the momentum, a superior grassroots organization, and a winning message that is helping us to gain supporters across North Carolina. All we need is your personal support in the last two weeks of the election to finish the job any volunteer time or financial support you can give will make the difference in this race.

Sincerely,

Janet Cowell
